My MAC Eyeshadows!

Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you guys my MAC eyeshadows. I only have four, and I was originally going to wait until I got more eyeshadows to make a blog post about them, but I was just too excited to wait. I'm a bit of a newbie to MAC eyeshadows, but I have to say I really like these!

When I bought my eyeshadows I decided that I wanted to get the refill pans. I thought they would be the best option because I really wanted a palette from MAC. But I couldn't get the palette. I'll talk about what I keep my eyeshadows in, in just a minute.

Satin Taupe is one of those eyeshadows that's really well known from MAC. I would describe this eyeshadow as a taupe with silver shimmer. It's a frost. This is probably my number one favorite out of the MAC eyeshadows that I own.

Ricepaper is an eyeshadow that I have mixed feelings about. First of all, I would describe this eyeshadow as a peachy gold with shimmer. It's also a frost. My mixed feelings come from the fact that it's not quite as pigmented as the other MAC eyeshadows. I have a difficult time applying it. Has anyone else had this problem? I do like this though because it makes a great dupe for NYX's Sahara.

Next we have Cork. Cork is my number two favorite out my MAC eyeshadows. I would describe this as a golden brown. It's a satin eyeshadow. I thought this eyeshadow would be similar to Urban Decay's Buck. And it's a little similar. This one might be a bit darker. But it would still make a great dupe for it.

And the last eyeshadow is Vanilla. When choosing eyeshadows I was stuck between Vanilla and Brule, but I obviously chose vanilla. Vanilla is a peachy ivory eyeshadow. It's a velvet eyeshadow. I really like this eyeshadow for a brow highlight.

Now here's swatches of the eyeshadows!

Vanilla, Ricepaper, Satin Taupe, Cork
I am probably one of the worst eyeshadow swatchers ever. Just a random thing I felt like sharing, because I'm sure you all agree haha.

Anyways, I really wanted the MAC eyeshadow palette and I had my heart set on that palette. When I placed my order, the palette was in stock. I guess when it came time to process my order the palette became out of stock and hasn't been in stock since.

Since I ordered refill pans I needed a place to keep my eyeshadows. So at Target I found this little ELF empty quad for pan eyeshadows. It was only $1 and it's a nice and safe place to keep my MAC eyeshadows.

Overall, I love MAC eyeshadows. I'm planning on buying more in the future. I'm also hoping one day I'll get a MAC palette....If it ever gets back in stock. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, though. MAC eyeshadows are great quality, except for a few exceptions like Ricepaper that's just not as pigmented as the others.

These refill pans are $12.00. You can purchase these at MAC stores or many department stores.

I'm pretty sure all of you have tried a MAC eyeshadow so, what's your favorite one? Tell me in the comments!
