NYX Extra Creamy Lipstick in Thalia: Review & Swatch!

I am obsessed with neutral lipsticks. Especially the neutral lipsticks that are similar to what Kylie Jenner would wear. Her lipstick always looks flawless. When I saw the NYX Extra Creamy Lipstick in Thalia, I knew I had to pick it up because it looked like the perfect Kylie color. I know people hate when I describe lipsticks as a Kylie color, but this really looks like a Kylie Jenner lip color.

Thalia is a super creamy brownish berry color. The formulation of this lipstick is really nice. It's super creamy and doesn't feel dry on my lips. This color wears really nicely too. I can get a few hours of wear before the color starts fading.

Here's a swatch!

I picked up this lipstick at Ulta for around $6.

My Morphe Brushes Eyeshadows: Review & Swatches!

I had been wanting to order from Morphe Brushes for a really long time, like ever since I first heard about them. But every time I would get ready to order, all of the eyeshadows I wanted were out of stock! Well, finally after waiting for a real long time, all of the eyeshadows I wanted were back in stock and I got to place an order!

I picked up some of the eyeshadow refill pans, which are $2.29 a piece! How awesome is that price? I also picked up a palette so that I could have a safe place to store my eyeshadows. I really like the quality of the palette. It seems pretty sturdy. And it comes with a huge mirror, which is really nice!

Quick review of the eyeshadows before we get into the closeup pictures and swatches! I am really impressed with overall quality of these eyeshadows. They're super pigmented, they all apply and blend really nicely. I was just really surprised because with the price of these eyeshadows, you wouldn't think they'd be as nice of quality as they are, but these really remind me of MAC eyeshadows. That's how good they are!

Now let's get into the closeups and swatches!

Over on my YouTube channel, I posted a video featuring my Morphe eyeshadows. It's a haul, makeup tutorial, and review all in one video.

You can find the Morphe eyeshadows on their website for $2.29 a piece. They also have pre-made palettes and brushes that are super affordable.

ELF Blush Palette in Light: Review & Swatches!

It's no secret that I have an obsession with blush. I have so many in my personal collection, which doesn't make sense to me because there's only so much blush I can use! And then since I'm building my makeup artist kit more and more each day, I have a whole bunch in my kit which makes more sense because I need different colors for different clients skin tones. Anyways, when I saw that ELF had blush palettes I was like "Ummm YES!" I ended up just getting the palette in Light because that's the colors that work best for my fair skin. There is a Dark palette, which I'm thinking about getting to put into my makeup artist kit, and if I do I'll post a review!

It wouldn't be a normal Chelseamakeup14 review, if I didn't review the packaging. I really like this. I think it's a great size, especially for travel. The four colors in this palette would go with so many different eyeshadow looks, that you wouldn't need to pack any other blushes, just this palette.

Like I said, this quad comes with four different blush colors. You get a bubblegum pink color, a darker bubblegum pink color, a peachy color with glitter, and a bronzy color (which would be great for sculpting your face!). These blushes are insanely pigmented! When applying these, I have to remember to use a light hand because it's easy to get too much product. I think these wear really nicely, and I can continue to see color on my cheeks throughout the day.

Now here's a swatch of the blushes!

I found this blush palette at Target for around $6. I've also seen it at Walmart. You can also find it on the ELF website

L'Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara: Review & Pictures!

I was at Target the other day, and I came across the L'Oreal Miss Manga Rock mascara. I hadn't really heard anyone talking about it so I thought I'd just pick it up and review it for you guys! I never tried the original Miss Manga mascara, so I didn't really know what to expect with this one. It claimed that it would give my lashes lots of volume and a "spiky finish." Also, I did pick this up in the waterproof formula because it's summer and smearing mascara isn't cute. Got to use the waterproof this time of year!

The formulation of this mascara seemed awfully dry. I know that because it's waterproof, it's obviously going to be a little drier, but this was drier than any other waterproof mascara I've used. The first coat of mascara seemed to apply to my lashes really nicely. But I'm someone who doesn't just wear one coat of mascara, I usually wear two or three. So I went to apply the second coat. I noticed that this mascara didn't seem to layer very well. It also made my lashes VERY clumped together. I know that clumping adds volume, and I don't mind a little clumping but when it looked like I had five eyelashes that's when it becomes a problem.

I also found that this mascara didn't apply very well to my bottom lashes. That was kind of weird to me.

Here's a picture of the wand. I found the wand quite interesting because, there's bristles but they're super tiny. It surprisingly seemed to coat my lashes really well. Well, except the bottom lashes.

After wearing this mascara all day, it did stay on really well and didn't flake off.

Overall thoughts, not impressed. It did give me SOME volume, but it mostly just clumped my lashes together and made it look like I only had five huge lashes. In my video, I gave it two mascara wands out of five, and I'm sticking with that rating.

If you want to watch my video of me trying this mascara for the first time here it is:

I found this mascara at Target for around $7.
